oceanographic data” and Andrea Frommel (formerly GEOMAR) for her dissertation „Effects of ocean
acidification on the growth and development of cod larvae (Gadus
morhua)”.The science award of the Annette Barthelt Foundation ( http://www.annette-barthelt-stiftung.de/ ) is handed out annually for commemoration of the terror victims in Dschibuti 27 years ago. Annette Barthelt, Daniel Reinschmidt, Marco Buchhalla and Hans-Wilhelm Halbeisen lost their lives due to a terroristic bomb attack just before their participation in an oceanographic research cruise with RV METEOR in the Indian Ocean. Kathrin Wuttig (GEOMAR) receives this year's scientific award for her dissertation „Manganese biogeochemistry in the sunlit ocean”. |
